Hello!

My name is Margarida Laranjeira Rocha, also known as Margarida Tangerina, your friendly Portuguese Graphic Designer and passionate Motion Artist/2D Animator!

Ever since I can remember, I've been captivated by animated cartoons and fun TV commercials — a fascination that blossomed into a lifelong passion for visual storytelling, illustration and graphic design.

With a strong foundation in Communication design from my bachelor’s degree, I've honed my skills in industry-standard software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.

Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working as a freelancer, creating brand identities, music videos and motion graphics for corporate clients. I'm also grateful to have had an animated short film showcased at film festivals—a journey enriched by my master’s degree in Animation.

For the past four years, I've specialized as a 2D Game Animator, a role that has allowed me to expand my expertise, particularly in Spine Pro, while also managing 3D projects in Blender. I have also discovered the thrill of solving creative challenges through the various forms and styles that animation can take, which I believe is essential for a job well done.

In my free time, when I want to let off some creative steam, I keep busy with illustration, drawing prints, postcards, stickers and other personalized projects that you can find at Art fairs.
